HonorSide Privacy Policy

Cerebra Enterprises (“we,” “us”) provides HonorSide. This policy covers the current HonorSide iOS app, the HonorSide pages at cerebraenterprises.com/honorside, and HonorSide support communications. Other Cerebra products have their own notices.

You can browse public resources without providing a name, email, proof of service or location permission. Search and matching run locally. Optional answers may include your role, needs, state or territory, veteran or caregiver relationships, VA enrollment, disability rating, care needs and benefit indicators. These can be sensitive; answering is optional.

Answers remain in memory unless you choose “Save answers on this device.” Saved plans can include selected resources, checklist progress, private notes and follow-up dates. HonorSide does not upload these answers, plans, notes or search text to Cerebra Enterprises or an AI service.

Saved private information is encrypted in protected files with a device-only encryption key. The private files are excluded from app backup. There is no HonorSide account, cloud synchronization or recovery service. Saved information remains on the device until you remove it; device loss or deletion can cause permanent loss.

The optional lock uses iOS authentication. HonorSide receives the authentication result, not your biometric data or device passcode. These safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.

To erase saved private information, open Settings → “Delete saved data” → “Delete.” This removes the local profile, plan, notes, dates and encryption key, cancels HonorSide reminders, and cleans temporary exports. Public resources remain. See Delete your data.

A helper session keeps a separate profile and plan in memory. It does not merge into the device owner’s saved information. Backgrounding or inactivity pauses the session; ending it or terminating the app clears it. Ask the person’s permission before entering their answers or sharing a handoff.

Sharing or printing transfers the public information shown in the handoff preview, such as selected resources, official contacts and next steps. The export excludes private answers, notes, disability details and precise location. Temporary export files are cleaned after use and during later cleanup. Copies saved by recipients, sharing services or printers cannot be recalled by HonorSide.

Opening a website, making a call, composing a text or copying public details uses your browser, phone, messaging app or clipboard at your direction. Optional reminders use generic text and can be disabled in iOS notification settings. Read-aloud uses system speech synthesis and does not record your voice.

Apple may process App Store and diagnostic information according to your device settings and Apple’s Privacy Policy. External providers handle information under their own policies.

The current app uses a bundled public resource catalog. Online catalog updates and in-app report submission are not configured in this version. A report can be copied for you to send yourself. Publishing these support pages does not activate an app backend.

The app has no advertising, analytics or session-replay SDK, and does not request GPS access, VA login credentials, identification documents, banking details or medical-record uploads. We do not sell HonorSide personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use private app information for AI training. We do not build advertising profiles across websites or apps.

If we enable new online app services, we will update this policy and provide any notice or consent required before collecting additional information.

Cloudflare hosts and protects these pages. When your browser connects, Cloudflare processes connection and request information, such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser details and security signals, to deliver content, prevent abuse and operate the service. This is separate from the private answers stored in the app.

The HonorSide pages do not add advertising trackers, analytics SDKs, contact forms or marketing cookies. The hosting service may use necessary security mechanisms or cookies, and your browser may cache page files. Hosting and security records are handled under Cloudflare’s service practices and applicable retention settings; this policy does not promise that all connection data is immediately erased. If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot, correct resource information and handle privacy requests. Our email and hosting providers process information needed to deliver and protect those services. We do not use support messages to enroll you in marketing.

Please send only what is needed to explain the issue. Do not send medical records, identity documents, VA passwords or another person’s sensitive information. We keep correspondence as needed to resolve the request, maintain relevant support records, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion; information required for legal obligations or resolving a dispute may need to be retained.

We may disclose information we hold when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or the security of our services. We cannot disclose your device-only app data because we do not receive it.

You can skip optional answers, end a helper session, delete saved app data and disable notifications. For information we hold in support correspondence, request access, correction or deletion by emailing [email protected] with “HonorSide privacy request” in the subject. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify that the request is yours, and will respond within applicable legal time limits. We do not need your private in-app answers to process a request.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent or a complaint to a privacy regulator. Where a legal basis is required, support and delivery rely on providing the requested service, security and responding to inquiries rely on legitimate interests, and required records rely on legal obligations. Consent is used where required. Cerebra Enterprises is based in the United States; website and email providers may process information in other countries.

HonorSide is intended for veterans, adult family members and helpers, and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through support. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

We will post revisions with an updated effective date. Material changes to how we handle information will be explained on these pages or in the app, and we will obtain consent where required.
