These Terms of Use apply to Plain Chess and related support and AI Coach services provided by Cerebra Enterprises LLC.
License and app use
When you download Plain Chess, you receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these terms and applicable Apple terms.
AI Coach
AI Coach is optional and requires internet access. Responses are generated from the board state and your prompt, but they may still be incomplete or mistaken. You remain responsible for how you use the advice.
Purchases and credits
Plain Chess is sold as a paid app. Additional AI Coach credits may be offered as optional consumable in-app purchases, including 10, 30, and 100 credit packs. Prices are displayed through the App Store.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse or attempt to disrupt the AI Coach service.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the app or backend.
- Do not use the service in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the app or AI Coach service at any time, including for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Plain Chess and AI Coach are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free output.
